FAQ

Which mediums do you work in?

Currently, I'm spending my time working with watercolors and with fine art markers. If you have a particular request, feel free to contact HaleyBadenhopArt [@] gmail.com

Do you sell originals?

Sometimes! If any are available, you'll find them originals are for sale on this page.

What is the price scale for prints?

All prints come with a built-in 1” border ready to be framed. All prices are listed as options on each particular print for sale.

Do you frame prints?

Framing is an option as you are ordering, if you select a frame color option. We offer 3 different colors for frames: White, Black, and Walnut Conservation Wood. Every frame is fine-crafted from solid wood, comes with premium shatterproof acrylic to preserve the art print, and an acid free dust cover on the back provides a custom finish. All framed art prints include wall hanging hardware.

What if I want a bigger framed print?

This could be a possibility, depending on the original size. Please contact haleybadenhopart [at] gmail.com for inquiries.

What type of paper will my print be on?

My prints are printed on natural white, matte, ultra smooth, 100% cotton rag, acid and lignin free archival paper using the latest generation of digital printers. These prints are produced using an advanced dry ink method to ensure vibrant image quality with excellent sharpness and uniformity. Custom trimmed by hand with a 1" border.

What type of paper will my original be on?

Please check the description on the painting of your choice for exact specifications such as hot press or cold press paper, sizing, etc. However, it is guaranteed to be on high quality 100% cotton acid-free archival watercolor paper, such as Arches.

What’s the difference between hot press, cold press, and rough watercolor paper?

  • Rough watercolor paper: has a prominent tooth or textured surface.
  • Hot-pressed watercolor paper: has a fine-grained, smooth surface with almost no tooth.
  • Cold-pressed watercolor paper: has a slightly textured surface, somewhere in between rough and hot-pressed paper.

In addition, all papers have weights. The most common weights are 90lb., 140lb., and 300lb. You will see 140lb. paper used the most here, as it is heavy enough, but not too thick that it sucks up all of the water.
